The Light Of Hope Returning

 

Our 30th anniversary season begins with The Light of Hope Returning,  a concert-length folk oratorio by Shawn Kirchner. This work combines familiar folk and traditional carols with new compositions on Winter Solstice, Christmas and New Year themes.  Together, these carols and beautiful readings form a dramatic arc, leading the audience on a journey from distant hope through darkness into the rebirth of light and true hope for the future.
